Ludger Lohmann has been Professor of Organ at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst since 1983, where he has taught students from around the globe. One of the world’s leading organ recitalists and pedagogues, he launched his career after winning several international competitions, including the Grand Prix de Chartres in 1982. Lohmann is also a senior researcher at the University of Göteborg in Sweden, where he was involved in the founding of the Göteborg Organ Art Center.
